To qualify for a Hunter Kelsey property tax loan you must:
- Own property in Texas which has delinquent taxes due of at least $3,500
- Be 18 or older
- Be able to afford the minimum loan payments (we’ll customize the loan to make it affordable)
Note: If the property is your homestead, anyone over 65 or receiving Social Security disability benefits should not get a tax loan and should instead take advantage of the tax deferral program offered by their county.
